To apply for a learner's permit in the State of Virginia, you must be at least 15 years and six months old. To obtain your learner's permit, you will have to pass a two-part written knowledge test. Part One of the knowledge test consists of 10 questions on traffic sign identification. You must answer all 10 questions correctly before you can proceed to Part Two.
