Vermont Motorcycle License

You must have a valid Vermont motorcycle license and complete a 4-hour Vermont Motorcycle Awareness Program training course before you can apply for a motorcycle learner's permit. If you meet these criteria, you can take a written knowledge test to have a permit issued to you. This knowledge test consists of 25 questions on traffic laws, safe riding techniques, and other related topics. To pass this test, you must score at least 80 percent or higher (20 questions or more answered correctly).
