Connecticut Driver's License

In the State of Connecticut, anyone between 16 and 17 years of age must obtain a learner's permit before being able to apply for a driver's license. To obtain your learner's permit, you will have to pass a 25-question knowledge exam on traffic laws, safe driving techniques, road signs, and other information that may help you become a safer, more responsible driver. A passing grade is 80 percent, or 20 out of 25 questions answered correctly.

A simple and effective way to study for this knowledge test is with our Cheat Sheet. The Connecticut Driver's Manual is over 100 pages long. Studying for your knowledge test with this manual can be a real challenge. In essence, it's like having to study for a pop quiz using an entire text book. Our Cheat Sheets take the opposite approach; they provide you with only the information that you need to pass your test, so that you can focus and study quickly and effectively.

Connecticut Motorcycle License

In order to receive your motorcycle endorsement, you must possess a valid Connecticut driver's license. To receive your motorcycle learner's permit, you will have to begin the endorsement process, which involves taking and passing both vision and written knowledge tests. Topics covered on the knowledge exam include rules of the road, safe riding techniques, and road signage.

When practicing for your knowledge test or taking a Connecticut driver's license practice test, you can reference the official Connecticut Motorcycle Operator Manual, but at over 50 pages in length, it's not a very convenient or user-friendly resource. Our Cheat Sheet is. Studying with our Cheat Sheets is easy, intuitive, and perhaps most importantly, effective. You can find the information that you are looking for quickly - all of the information that you need is presented clearly - and you will be able to retain this info so that you can pass your test successfully. Plus, it's available as a PDF so you can download it on your smartphone and study anywhere - even in the DMV office while waiting to take your test!

Connecticut
Commercial Driver's License

To apply for a Connecticut commercial driver's license (CDL) instruction permit, you must be at least 18 years old. To operate a commercial vehicle across state lines or transport hazardous materials, you must be at least 21 years old. The process for obtaining your CDL instruction permit involves multiple steps. You will have to self-certify the type of vehicle that you will be driving as well as the type of commerce that you will be conducting. Additionally, you will have to carry a valid Medical Examiners Certificate dated within the last two years. Once these requirements are satisfied, you will then take a written knowledge test for the type of license that you are applying for (Class A, B, or C), as well as separate knowledge tests for any endorsements that you may be seeking (air brake, passenger, etc.).

Using our Cheat Sheets, you can pass these tests with ease. If you don't use our quick reference guides, you run the real risk of failing on your first attempt. The commercial knowledge tests cover a wide range of topics - traffic laws, trucking regulations, safe driving techniques, and road signs - and studying for them can be frustrating and discouraging. Even the Connecticut driver's license practice test can be difficult without our Cheat Sheet. Use the resource that has been designed specifically with your needs in mind - use our Cheat Sheets.
