Once this phase is complete, a provisional license can be issued. Phase 2 consists of the 12-month period following the issuing of this provisional license. During this time, certain restrictions will be placed on the driver.
In order to get your learner license, you will have to pass a written exam on Texas traffic laws, safe driving techniques, and road signage.
