The knowledge portion of the licensing process can be difficult to pass, even if you prepare ahead of time or take a New York driver license practice test. Why risk not passing on your first attempt? Use our Cheat Sheets and start driving!
In the State of New York, you must be 16 years old to drive. As with other states, New York has a graduated licensing program. After you obtain your learner's permit, you will have limited driving privileges and have to make it through a restriction period before you can get your provisional license. The provisional license will also be subject to restrictions, until you reach age 18.
To earn your learner's permit, you must complete a written knowledge test on traffic laws, safe driving techniques, and road signs (unless you have completed a driver education course and can show an MV-285 driver education certificate). The DMV Test Cheat Sheetsthat we offer have all of the information necessary to pass this test - presented in a simple, easy-to-use, concise format. Our Cheat Sheet makes a great quick reference guide that you can refer to before your test, or you can use it as a companion for your New York driver's license practice test. Don't get stuck on a question!Learn More >
As with a standard driver's license, you must pass a written knowledge test before you are able to get a motorcycle learner's permit or license. If you do not have another form of New York driver's license or learner's permit, you must also complete a pre-licensing course or driver education course before you can take your road test. Passing the knowledge test can be difficult if you don't practice ahead of time. You can study the New York Motorcycle Handbook, which can be time-consuming and cumbersome, or you can use our easy-to-read and convenient Cheat Sheet.
Our Cheat Sheets contain all of the information that you need to pass your test, and nothing more. You don't have to worry about thumbing through a large manual or handbook in the hopes of finding the answer you are seeking. With our DMV Test Cheat Sheets, the answers are right at your fingertips. Using our Cheat Sheets, you can be confident that you'll pass your written test on your FIRST TRY.Learn More >
Anyone 18 years old or older can apply for a commercial driver's license (CDL). If you are planning on pursuing a career as a commercial driver, or simply want to keep your employment options open as you attend college, you will need to obtain a Class A, B, or C commercial license. A number of requirements must be met in order for you to obtain your license, including a pre-trip inspection test and a skills test. Using our Cheat Sheets, you can be sure that you'll pass your written test on your first try, with ease. If you don't, we'll refund your money.
In order to pass New York State's written test for a CDL, you must successfully answer 80 percent or more of the questions. This passing ratio is far more stringent than the testing requirements you may be accustomed to in school. If you don't adequately prepare ahead of time (by taking a New York driver's license practice test, for example), you risk not passing, costing you both time and money. Our Cheat Sheets include all of the information that you'll find in the New York Commercial Driver License Manual, but in a condensed and easy-to-read format. You can take your test with confidence, knowing that you'll pass.Learn More >
